Projector calibration is more complex than TV calibration because the final image depends not only on the projector, but also on the screen material, screen gain, throw distance, lens setup, lamp or laser condition, room reflections, and ambient light.

This service measures the image as it is actually viewed in the room. Depending on the projector and available controls, calibration may include brightness and contrast setup, black level, grayscale, gamma, colour temperature, colour management, SDR setup, HDR assessment, and practical recommendations for picture modes and room conditions.

Projector HDR is especially dependent on the projector’s brightness and tone mapping behaviour, so the goal is to configure a practical and realistic image rather than chasing numbers the system cannot physically achieve.
